RVR compact SUV Planning to launch by Mitsubishi India

Mitsubishi-ASXIt appears the Indian compact SUV market is set to get competitive. While BMW is equipping up to roll out its baby SUV ‘X1’ by year-end, Skoda Auto is on course to launch its mini-SUV ‘Yeti’. If ‘Autocarindia’ report is to be accepted, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, the fourth biggest Japanese carmaker, is firming up designs to launch yet another SUV for the Indian market. This time, they are aspiring at the mini SUV segment with their mini SUV RVR furthermore renowned as ASX in the European market. Referred as a Mini Outlander, Mitsubishi RVR is a very powerful mini SUV constructed on Outlander platform. The compact SUV, if commenced, would be gathered at the company’s living facility and will be cost in the variety of Rs. 13-16 lakh.

Despite multiple endeavours, Mitsubishi India spokesperson was unavailable for comments.

According to Autocarindia, RVR is a lightweight vehicle assesses approximately 4.3-meters long, but still much shorter than the Honda CR-V and BMW X1. At the front, vehicle gets the apparent EVO X shark nosed grille enclosed with chrome ring which has furthermore been supplemented to the lately commenced facelifted Outlander, as asserted by the magazine.
