Ford Figo Review Price and Specification

U.S. auto giant Ford Motor said Thursday it plans to export the model Figo made 50 new destinations in India and exports from India will be a key. Ford also said it was designed to introduce eight vehicles in the Indian car market is growing rapidly aims to continue its global competitors in the Asian market through third car. "We have big plans for India and for this region," Joe Hinrichs, Ford's president of Asia Pacific and Africa, in a speech in New Delhi. "In the middle of this decade, we will introduce eight new vehicles to India from our global platform, in an appropriate segment for this market," he said.

Ford's announcement came after the U.S. automotive launched earlier this year in India Figo small locally manufactured model to compete with offerings from its international competitors such as General Motors and Volkswagen. Figo was in southern Indian city of Chennai, has become very popular, with over 30,000 sold in 25 weeks.

Car sales in India growing at an average annual rate of 17 percent over the past five years and a 10 to 11 million people will migrate from bicycles and motorbikes in a small car in the coming years. Hinrichs said the company export Figo in 50 new countries, including Mexico and North Africa and the Middle East next year.
