Google brings drag & drop attach feature to gmail

Browsing for files to add as attachments to e-mail messages is passe. Now, all you have to do is simply drag and drop them to add them to your mail messages. That's right, Google has added a new file drag and drop feature in Gmail to attach files the easy way. However, currently only Firefox 3.6 and Google chrome users can avail of this feature.

Locating files on your system can often be a painful task and usually, people prefer to save their files and foders on the Destop itslf. With the new drag and drop feature, you can attach as many files as you want  at one go( under 20 MB total size). Select the file from anywhere on your PC or Mac, drag them to the Gmails's 'Attach Files' area and drop them. Almost instantaneously, you will notice a bar showing the attachments status of those files.
